Business Marketing Association Announces 2004 Pro-Comm Awards Winners
The Business Marketing Association (BMA) is pleased to announce the
winners of the 29th annual Pro-Comm Awards competition, longest running
and most respected business-to-business marketing communications awards
program in the U.S.
A panel of 30 business marketers from both agencies and corporations
judged nearly 600 submissions in 40 business-to-business marketing
communications categories. The judges awarded 114 Pro-Comm Awards-38 Best of Division Awards and 76 Awards of Excellence-in 38 of the 40 categories.
The top 2004 Pro-Comm awards winners were Slack Barshinger (Chicago, IL) with 15 awards, Sullivan Higdon & Sink (Wichita, KS) with nine awards, Mobium Creative Group (Chicago, IL) with eight awards, NKH&W, Inc. (Kansas City, MO) with seven awards, Maddock Douglas, Inc. (Elmhurst, IL) with seven awards and Fergus/Peters Group (Des Plaines, IL) with seven awards.
The annual Best of Show Award was awarded to Chicago-based Slack Barshinger for its four-color print advertising campaign for eBay Business.
"In my opinion, the quality of the work overall was much higher than
we've seen in previous years," said Rick Kean, executive director of
the Business Marketing Association. "In this recession, we've learned
to be more careful and selective in what we do. The entries are an
example of how we, as an industry, have emerged victorious in the face
of adversity."
