Having published the world-famous Pocket Flight Guide for more than 30 years, OAG has always been synonymous with travel solutions. As the leading provider of independent flight information in its 75 years of business, OAG was the first resource ever to put flight schedules and data in one central location.
Yet with the emergence of the Internet and online booking sites, coupled with the lack of proactive media relations efforts, the popularity of the OAG name had begun to diminish over the last few years. New management, which took over the company in 2001, expressed a strong commitment to introducing several industry-leading products. But to effectively market those products, OAG needed to reintroduce its brand to business travelers and the airline industry and reinstate the same levels of respect and trust it had garnered over the past 75 years.
