With a worldwide community of 180 million registered users, eBay has the perfect opportunity to raise awareness about e-waste—and empower consumers to extend the useful life of used computers and consumer electronics. eBay formed—and took the helm of—the Rethink Initiative, a coalition of industry, governmental, environmental and charitable organizations, to “offer a fresh perspective and new answers to the challenge of e-waste.”

The staff at Slack Barshinger was eager to roll up their sleeves to help the Rethink Initiative’s efforts.
